A Dash of Dilli

Lazy Sunday afternoon, don't have much to do. I switch off my TV and sit back thinking about something I have never thought before. Facebook updates, bbms trying to steal the focus, suddenly something comes up and make you feel exhilarated.

It’s the start of winter in Delhi and i already love it as long it does not freeze me to death. The noon appears like 730 AM and you feel like taking stroll outside. I did that yesterday, at Lodhi Garden. The day started late as usual but the walk seemed a little different. The climate was super - happiness snuggled between cool breeze that went past my face and the winter haze giving it a feeling of a wonderful afternoon.

I did not like this place when I came here and since then have been counting my days back. But now i realize that this city definitely has the charming touch, which  really makes you fall in love with it. Food that tastes awesome, people swearing at each other after every third word that comes out of their mouth making the dialect sound funny, lives that desperately dwindle between crimes and much awaited crazy weekends. Breath taking traffic and politics. All this put together makes the city seem larger than the sum of its people. Dilli is as mesmerizing just as the way Gurgaon sucks.

All I need to do is unleash that lazy creature out of me and venture out with awesome company with the dash of Dilli.

Here is my an “improcrastinabilità” list for the coming weekends:
1.   Bangla Sahib Gurudwara
2.   Humayuns tomb
3. Jama Masjid area Netaji Shubhash Marg to savor ‘evening food stalls’ @Urdu Bazaar.
4.   Chattarpur mandir
5.   Akshardham
6.   Hog at “Tadka”- Nehru Bazaar
7.   Lotus Temple – Kalkaji
8.   Late night walks at India gate and garam Chai.

I am in a constant state of Happiness; all I need now is - a humungousaur appetite !
