Life dripping down the edge of a Tea cup

Ever since I have left Mumbai I have been striving to get back, especially when it rains, it becomes all the more difficult for me to stay away.

Rains drive me crazy. I don’t want to stay at home when it rains. Roaming aimlessly has always been my interest; I am very passionate about Mumbai Rains. Roaming aimlessly need no motivation, no planning, no money..just a simple T-shit and jeans that’s all .  Wake up early in the morning and walk towards the due laden lush greenery as if someone has painted it to offer you a beautiful experience.  A light fog and cold wet weather, not knowing how far I have travelled…every tea stall is my destination and hot kanda bhaji plate is my food for the day.

Fortunately, I get to travel a lot for work and love it. India is the only country where you can savor all the fun while you travel. Wake up early and stand in the train compartment door just to experience the scenic beauty after fresh showers. Suddenly, a chai-wala appears before you asking for hot tea that doubles the fun. That tea cup makes the experience exquisite and memorable.

Long drives become the more delightful in rains. The upbeat mood and the refreshing climate makes the journey exclusive; stereo plays rimjhim gire sawan by kk or Garva by Milind Ingle adding icing to this delicacy. My most wonderful experience so far has been the drive to Vaishakhare from Kalyan . Almost empty roads , wheels rolling sluggishly at 50 kmph through the greenery and mesmerizing climate.  This is something I miss when am away. But …not this time. I have planned my aimless journey and will live my life watching it dripping down the edge of a tea cup.

Wel-come July with scent of wet mud and romancing the rains!
